FAQ's

Where do your hunts take place?

The majority of our hunts take place in Michigan’s Saginaw bay region. This location is a prime place to find migrating waterfowl as they cross Canada’s border into the US on their way south each fall.

What hunting styles do you use?

We normally hunt out of layout blinds or A Frame style blinds, but can always accommodate groups based on individual needs as best possible. We never stop scouting so that birds are kept fresh and your hunt is the best it can be.

What should I do to get ready for a hunt at GLGO?

We try to run groups of 6-10 each day, so call your favorite hunting buddies and let’s plan a trip! Call us for availability and then all you need to do is show up!

What is the nearest airport?

Flint bishop International Airport is approximately an hour and a half drive and has rental vehicles available. Detroit Metro Airport is about two and a half hours away, and sometimes has more reasonably priced airfare and rentals.

What lodging accommodations are available?

At this time, the only lodging provided is for turkey hunters. We have a fully furnished lodge with private bedrooms and meals provided for hunters in the spring.

For fall waterfowl hunting, most guests will stay at local hotels. There are multiple hotels available in the West Branch area and provide quality lodging options for your time with us.
